In the final volume of this wonderful series we learn that the reason Takuto couldn't become a full shinigami was because he wasn't actually dead. He was in a coma!!!!!! He wakes up and there is a touching scene with him and Mitsuki who luckily end up together. I loved this book series!!!!!

Rashomon And Other Stories

I feel like translated stories are hard to rate, and from the notes, Akutagawa's style is especially hard to convey in English. Most of the stories were probably more engaging in Japanese, but Goi's pain in Yam Gruel was too real.

This story is more fantastical then I originally expected. I also empithise with Meroko and really would like to meet Eichi to see how amazing he really is. I also love Mitsuki's passion for singing and her strong determination.

In this volume everything gets more complicated as past relationships get uncovered and feelings swirl together. We also get a cute back story for Mitsuki and Eichi. It is also revealed that the reason Mitsuki can't see Eichi is because he is in fact, dead.

We Were There volume 1

This is the first book in a series that is probably going to be a cheesy love story. I read it in half an hour. It is a bit different from other romance maga, since the main characters already confessed her feelings to the main love interest. I'm excited to see what happens next!
